Lucid Shine Auto Detailing — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the policies and procedures of Lucid Shine Auto Detailing. By booking a service, all clients agree to abide by the following terms.

 

Our Commitment to You

Lucid Shine Auto Detailing is dedicated to delivering professional, honest, and reliable detailing services. Our goal is to help preserve the value and appearance of your vehicle through expert care and attention to detail.

We prioritize safe and proper detailing practices. We will never perform any service that could potentially damage your vehicle. Before we begin, please notify us of any known issues that may impact service, such as:

​

  • Electrical issues (e.g., dead battery)

  • Inoperable doors, windows, or trunk

  • Loose components or aftermarket modifications

​

If your vehicle presents any health or safety risks (e.g., hazardous substances, drug paraphernalia, sharp objects), you must inform us before service begins. Failure to do so may result in liability for any harm caused to our staff.

 

Service Location & Refusal of Service

Most services are performed at our shop. Certain services may be available as mobile appointments at your home. If, upon arrival, we are unable to access or service your vehicle for any reason (e.g., no-show, locked vehicle), you will still be charged the full service amount.

Lucid Shine Auto Detailing reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.

 

Appointments & Punctuality

When booking an appointment, you are reserving a dedicated time slot for your vehicle. Please arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we haven’t heard from you, we may cancel or reschedule your appointment, and you will be charged in full.

For mobile services, we strive to arrive on time but may be delayed due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any delays promptly.

 

Pricing & Additional Charges

Service prices vary depending on the vehicle’s size, condition, and the selected package. Additional charges may apply for:

​

  • Excessive exterior buildup (e.g., bugs, sap, tar, bird droppings, water spots, mud)

  • Heavily soiled interiors, pet hair, sand, stains, or excess debris

  • Removal of personal items

 

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you may choose from the following options:

​

  1. Reschedule — You may reschedule at no extra cost. However, you will be charged at the time of rescheduling.
     

  2. Cancel — You may cancel for a fee (50% of service total).
     

  3. Convert to Gift Card — You may apply the full service amount toward a gift card for future use. (Not available for fleet/business bookings.)

​

Appointments involving multiple vehicles (e.g., 5 vehicles at $100 each) are subject to individual cancellation fees for each vehicle.

 

No Performance Guarantees

We do not guarantee that your vehicle will be restored to a specific condition (e.g., “showroom new”), though we always aim for the highest quality results.

 

Property Damage & Liability

Lucid Shine Auto Detailing, its employees, and affiliates will not be held responsible for accidental property damage unrelated to the detailing services provided.

You agree to hold us harmless against any liability, damage, expense, or loss that may arise from servicing your vehicle, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

​

We will not remove or install any of the following:

​

  • Children’s car seats

  • Custom equipment (e.g., seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, roof racks)

  • Stickers or accessories

​

Please remove these items in advance if cleaning underneath them is desired.

 

Payment Policy

We accept:

​

  • Cash

  • ACH bank transfer

  • Cash App Pay

  • Credit/Debit cards

  • Lucid Shine Gift Cards

​

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

 

Photos & Video Usage

With your booking, you grant Lucid Shine Auto Detailing permission to take photos and/or video of your vehicle for marketing purposes. All identifying details (e.g., license plates, personal items) will be concealed. We will never sell or share these images with third parties.

 

Damage Claims & Reporting Issues

We do not reimburse for minor cosmetic imperfections. If major damage occurs due to our gross negligence, we will authorize repairs through a vendor of our choosing before reimbursement is issued.

If you discover an issue after your detail, you must notify us within 24 hours. If a follow-up is needed, it must be scheduled within 5 days of the original appointment.

​

You agree to hold Lucid Shine Auto Detailing harmless from liability, damage, or injury that may occur after services have been completed.
